Vulture Awareness Day!

Wild Black Vulture - Harpers Ferry WV

Join Blue Ridge Wildlife Center's Vulture Awareness Day on Saturday, September 7th, from 1 PM to 2 PM to celebrate all things vulture! From the poop on their legs to how they help humans in more ways than one, this program is a must-see. Limited to 30 people at $15 per ticket, the money raised will help Blue Ridge care for the numerous black and turkey vultures admitted to our hospital every year.

There will also be a donation-based raffle, with tickets at $1 each, for a chance to win a painting made by our resident Turkey Vulture, Moira Rose, and Black Vulture, Wednesday Addams.

This event runs from 1pm - 2pm. Ambassadors and presentation will be held in our classroom, through the blue door of our main building.

Tickets are $5 and available HERE
